Dates and Events For Chapter 48


We just met at Chickie's and Pete's in South Philly.  In the picture you can see the framed copy of Charter 48.  The next time we meet at Chickie's and Pete's will be in December 10, 2024 at 4:00PM so members can attend Union meeting starting at 6:00PM.

The purpose of the group is to keep retiree's in touch with each other and meet at least twice a year.  We have been meeting the past several years in the late Spring or early Summer to tailgate at Citizen's Park for a Phillies game, care of Harry Bittino and at Chikie and Pete's before Christmas, care of Liz Myers.  I don't think any of us have made it into the game but the tailgating part is fun:)

Please join us May 23, 2024 in Lot G around noon.  The game starts at 1;05PM - Phillies vs Ranger.  Bring whatever it is you want or need for a few hours hanging outside with your retired Brothers and Sisters.  It is suggested to bring a chair, a cooler for your food and beverages.  

There will be a canopy provided and cornhole game along with hourse shoes, and music.  Always a good time.  Please spread the word to other retirees who don't use the computer.
